Position Overview
Under the general supervision of a Manager, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for triaging inbound calls from healthcare providers while ensuring a high level of customer service. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Health Plan customers with inquiries regarding member benefits and eligibility, claim status verification, and health plan claim processing requirements.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of customer interactions.
- Communicating effectively with customers while maintaining confidentiality.
- Collaborating with co-workers and supporting a team-oriented environment.
Required Skills- 2 years of customer service experience in the healthcare field
- Strong background in call center, insurance, or medical environments
- High School Diploma required; some college-level coursework preferred.
- Experience with EPIC software is a plus.
