Position Overview / Responsibilities for the ITSM Portfolio Manager:Oversee a portfolio of IT programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and successful delivery across cross-functional teams
Drive Release Management and Deployment Planning processes to support high-quality, on-time releases
Champion ITSM and DevOps principles, leading initiatives through the full Product Lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to influence strategic direction without direct authority
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and delivery performance across IT functions
Manage project dependencies, risks, and issues while promoting conflict resolution and collaboration
Lead roadmap development and strategic planning activities
Utilize tools such as ServiceNow and Jira to manage workflows, track progress, and ensure transparency
Present progress, risks, and solutions to executives and stakeholders on a regular basis
4+ years of experience in ITSM and Program Management of complex, cross-functional initiatives
5+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies and Product Lifecycle Management
Advanced understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
2+ years of Release Management and Deployment Planning experience
Demonstrated success navigating ambiguous environments and driving initiatives to completion
3+ years of experience with ServiceNow and Jira
Experience influencing without direct authority and managing executive-level communications
Proven track record of implementing impactful process improvements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 7+ years of experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
PMP, PfMP, or other formal project/portfolio management certification
Experience in telecommunications or broadcast satellite industries
Familiarity with financial management principles related to IT investments

Compensation Details: $63/hr
