IDR is seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Merriweather, MD. This role involves supporting modern workplace solutions, managing Microsoft 365 environments, and overseeing virtualization technologies to enhance organizational productivity and collaboration.
Position Overview for the Microsoft 365 Engineer:
- Lead and manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business implementations.
- Oversee collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams.
- Support virtualization environments such as Windows 365 Cloud PCs, Azure Virtual Desktop, and VMware solutions.
- Support deployment activities for Microsoft Intune, application packaging, and patch management.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize the Modern Workplace environment and improve user experience.
Requirements for the Microsoft 365 Engineer:
- Experience leading mid-to-large scale Microsoft 365 implementations
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business
- Extensive experience supporting Microsoft Teams and Modern Workplace solutions
- Virtualization experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, VMware vCenter, and Horizon View
- Skills in application packaging for Microsoft Intune, software and patch deployment, and cloud desktop environments
