IDR is seeking a Support Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Charlton, MA. This role involves providing second-level technical support, primarily through deskside assistance, to business partners. The company operates within the IT service support industry, focusing on internal technical resolutions and problem management.
Position Overview for the Support Specialist :
- Acts as the second point of contact for handling complex technical support issues escalated from Service Desk Support Analysts or submitted via Self Service.
- Conducts problem management activities and creates detailed solution documentation for internal and business partner use.
- Provides deskside support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Utilizes advanced knowledge of Windows OS, Apple OS, Active Directory, and MS Office Suite to resolve issues effectively.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements for the Support Specialist :
- Self-motivated team player with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated flexible approach to an ever-changing environment.
- Professional and courteous approach with solid organizational skills.
- Good telephone manner and ability to prioritize large volumes of work while maintaining high quality.
- Troubleshooting skills to resolve inquiries professionally and accurately.
